지형이 만드는 건축
경사지형의 조건에서 얻어낸 지그재그 형태는 대지가 가진 힘의 흐름을 반영하고 있어, 계속해서 바다풍경과의 관계에서 조직되어 대지 전체에 다양한 장소를 생성하고 있다. 12미터 높이의 지형은 층별 프로그램의 분리와 함께 층층이 테라스가 생기고, 비틀어진 자연 지형의 선형은 층층의 매스가 틀어져 지그재그의 형태를 만드는 동력이 된다.

건축과 풍경의 경계 
건축은 풍경화되고 풍경은 건축화되는 건축과 풍경의 중간 경계점 같은 이 건축은 지형을 따라 오르내리면서 차이가 발생하는 특이성의 풍경을 연출하고 있다. 즉 어떤 곳은 수축되어 풍경을 담는 강한 시선의 응집력을 가진다면, 어떤 곳은 펼쳐져 풍경과 관계 맺는 힘이 확장된다. 이때 주목할 점은 여행이라는 탈 일상과 지형이 만드는 다양한 레벨의 공간이 동시에 작동한다는 점이다.

일상 속 탈 일상의 집
우리가 살면서 누구나 일상 속에서 탈 일상을 생각하게 된다. 집이란 무엇일까? 여기서 집은 일상의 기능을 효율적으로 수행하는 기계가 아니라 일상의 의미를 다양하게 소통시키는 매체로서 존재하기를 원한다. 지형과 풍경 속에서 건축은 주인과 손님으로 일상과 탈 일상으로 끊임없는 해체와 새로운 조직으로 탈주하는 집이 된다.

Architecture made by Topography 
Zigzag form obtained from conditions of inclined terrain reflects a flow of force by land and is blended well with the scenery of the sea, thereby creating a variety of places to the entire surrounding land. The topographical condition with about 12m height results in a terrace on each story along with the separation of the program. The linearity of twisted natural terrain becomes a driving force to make a zigzag form by twisted mass in each story.

The boundary between Architecture and Landscape
This structure seems to be an intermediate boundary spot between architecture and landscape, where architecture becomes landscape and landscape is architectural, and it produces a unique landscape in which differences occur as it moves up and down along the terrain. In other words, some places contracted and have cohesion with a strong view of the landscape and other spots expand the power that is linked with the landscape. It is noteworthy that both travel escaping from a daily routine and various levels of space created by terrain work simultaneously.

A House for Escaping from Daily Routine within Daily Routines
Everybody thinks of escaping from daily routines during daily life. What significance does a house bring in? We here want a house to be a medium that communicates various meanings of daily life, not a machine that just performs daily functions effectively. In terrain and landscape, architecture becomes a house where both an owner and guests can consistently alternate between jumping into and escaping from the daily routine by seamless disassembling and new organizations.
