MASIL :　마을 또는 이웃에 놀러다니는 일

 

북쪽에서 남쪽으로 길게 펼쳐지고, 경사가 있는 대지에 건축주는 자연을 그대로 보존하면서 쉼의 공간을 만들 고자 했다. 자연과 함께 호흡하고, 제주의 주변마을과 어울리는 건물을 만들고자 성·절토를 최소화하고, 남향 을 고려해 최대한 일조량을 높일 수 있게 건물을 배치했다. 2개 동의 건물이 조형적으로 하나가 될 수 있도록 가벽을 설치하여 두개의 동(건물)을 연결하고, 주택과 근린생활시설이 조화를 이루도록 했다.

건물 외벽을 태극문양의 곡선 형태로 만들어 자연스러움과 아름다움을 표현하고자 노력하면서도, 심플함과 모 던함을 통해 깔끔한 이미지를 추구했다. 외부 공간을 제주의 특색을 살려 현무암과 수목들로 구성했다. 보행 자 및 차량 동선은 구분하여 사용자간의 이용성을 높였다. 단독주택은 향과 조망을 고려하여 남쪽으로 안마당 을 설치하고 도로에서의 소음 및 시선을 외벽으로 차단하여, 자연스럽게 프라이버시를 확보했다. 주택 안쪽의 곡선으로 펼쳐지는 거실이 데크와 안마당과 유기적으로 연계하여 개방감을 확보하고, 방과 방. 거실과 주방 등 공용부분과 전용부분은 조화를 이루면서 주거공간으로의 역할에 충실하도록 계획했다. 근린생활시설은 도로 에서의 접근성과 개방성, 사용성을 높이고, 건물과 외부공간(데크, 조경)의 연계를 통해 이용자가 자연과 함께 호흡하며 편안하게 할 수 있도록 했다. 건축주는 마을 또는 이웃에 놀 러다니는 일을 뜻하는 ‘마실:MASIL’이 란 팻말을 입구에 달았다. 마을을 만들고, 이웃들과 누구나 함께 할 수 있는 공간이 되길 기대한다.

MASIL : The business of visiting a village

 

a space for. Before making space for rest, we tried to preserve nature as it is. To breathe with nature and make a building that will match the surrounding villages of Jeju. The eco-friendly building layout was achieved by reducing energy to maximising the use of sunshine on the southern elevation.

 

The mass is connected to the building so that the building can be unified from the outside, so that the house and neighbourhood living facilities are united. The outer walls of the building are shaped like a taegeuk pattern. While trying to express nature and beauty, he pursued a clean image through simplicity and modernity. By utilizing the characteristics of Jeju, the basement and trees are used to form sculptures and outdoor spaces, harmonizing with the surrounding environment. Pedestrians and vehicles are separated to improve the usability, traffic flow and safety. In the single family house, Considering the incense and the view, the courtyard is located on the south side. This provides protection from the noise and visability from the road which are blocked by the outside wal. The living room, which is spread out in a curve inside the house, has an organic connection with the deck and the courtyard, securing the openness between the inner and outer spaces. The living room and kitchen, including the common part and the private parts, are planned to fulfill its role as a residential space. The cafe increases accessibility and openness to the road, which enhances its functionality for users. The building and the external space (deck, tree) are connected with each other to make the users comfortable. In the upper part of the north elevation, a window was installed to induce the gaze to the south, so that the inside of the building could breathe. There is a sign above the entrance saying ‘MASIL’. MASIL, refers to playing around in a village or neighbourhood. We hope to build a village in a Jeju rural village and provide a rest space for all of us with our neighbours.
